Simple or Complex? This is the first decision when getting started, the system is designed to be very flexible and easily modified to meet an organization's needs. Like most things it is often best to start simple and grow into a more comprehensive solution, however if your needs are sophisticated you will be well served to plan the implementation in detail prior to going live.

You will need to develop the background data that supports and validates the information that is entered into the database. It is critical that each User has a preset list of choices when selecting a location, a problem type or a priority. The building name and code must be consistent. The same applies to the space ID for a certain room. Sending a trades person to the right place to address a problem is fundamental to efficient work request and problem resolution.
